Our two-Bedroom Suite (sleeps 4-6 people) has been redecorated to capturing the refined style of tropical Hawaii and offers a fully equipped kitchen for "at home" convenience as well as a washer/dryer.

Guests of our Kaanapali Shores condo can also enjoy the Ocean Pool and Beach Club Restaurant. Also available is a Garden Pool (perfect for the kiddies!), a fitness/massage center, three lighted tennis courts, two jet spas, complimentary scuba lessons, and a beautiful beach just steps from the resort. The Beach Club Restaurant and lounge overlook the pool and the blue Pacific ocean and has a menu of fresh Island cuisine. Located within the lobby are a salon, tropical flower shop, sundries & beach apparel stores. You'll find additional shops, galleries, and restaurants nearby.

Of all the family vacations we've taken over the years, we have the fondest memories of our stays in Maui.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

Our favorite body surfing spot and voted #1 in 2006 is Flemming Beach. Flemming's mile-long crescent beach offers shady spots to relax between swimming or surfing. It also has picnic facilities, grills, snack-bar, restrooms and showers. It's just a 3 minute drive from our condo.

We also love snorkeling and found the best place to go is the Molokini Crater only 3 miles from Maui's shore. Just take a short drive south to Lahaina where there are several charters that handle 1/2 and full day trips. If you're lucky you'll catch glimpses of whales and dolphins on the way.

Only 4.5 miles away. Nicest shady beach for picnics, surfing and swimming for the whole family.

Charter boats to Molokini Crater

Only 5.2 miles south to Lahaina. Also take pictures in the 'Spreading Banyan Tree' Park. This tree spreads the entire city block!

My husband and I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, but we LOVE the ocean. Ever since we honeymooned in Maui we've been going back to vacation as often as we can. As our family grew, we found Hawaii to be the perfect place to take the kids. They couldn't get enough of the ocean. They were just amazed the first time we took them snorkeling - they said, "Cool, it's like swimming in giant a fish tank!" There was no question, we had to invest in our own "Hawaii beach house."     • Property Description: The cottage overlooks sodus bay, South and lake ontario to the North Property ID Number: 71578 Comment Rating: Positive Comment Text: We loved this cottage. The breezes through the front and back windows were delightful, the lake beach was beautiful and the bay around the dock was teeming with fish and other wildlife. Our dog swam every day and considers it his best vacation ever. The cottage is on a barrier island reachable only by boat, which makes it quiet and private, but restaurants and the bare basic groceries are a 5-minute ride in the motorboat. Lake Ontario ranged from smooth-as-glass to 2-foot whitecaps while we were there in late June, so we couldn't kayak on the lake every day, but Sodus Bay was usually doable. Water is very clean. Owner is nearby and helpful. Cottage is well-equipped and in great shape. All in all, a great experience we plan to repeat.

    • I have just rented #16 54th Ave. in Wild Dunes,SC and after being there only two days, I called the owner and rented the property for 2007.The house is great, the pool is spacious and access to the beach is short and easy.

    • We have stayed at Kamaole Sands numerous times and each time it has been a pleasant experience. Since seeing the pictures of the remodeling that was done, makes us anxious to make a return trip to Maui and stay at the Kamaole Sands
