Earn One Key tier status
One Key has four membership tiers:
About Trip Elements
Trip elements are different parts of the trip and determine your tier status. Each part of the trip must cost $25 or more (excluding taxes and fees and after any coupons) to count as a trip element. Whether you’re booking an eligible flight, night stay, activity, or even car rental, it can all count as a trip element and can help you progress toward your next One Key tier.
- When you join, you'll start with Blue tier status.
- Earn Silver status by collecting 5 trip elements in a year.
- Earn Gold status by collecting 15 trip elements in a year.
- Earn Platinum status by collecting 30 trip elements in a year.

How it works
- Flights – You earn 1 Trip Element per ticket (one-way or roundtrip)
- For example, a roundtrip booking for 4 people would earn 4 trip elements, while 4 one-way bookings to the destination and 4 one-way returns would earn 8 trip elements.
- For multi-city or multi-destination flights, you earn 1 trip element for each eligible leg of the trip.
- Hotels – You earn 1 trip element per room per completed night stayed (regardless of the number of guests)
- Vacation rental (may have multiple rooms) – You earn 1 trip element per completed night stayed
- Car – You earn 1 trip element per rental day
- Activities – You 1 trip element per completed activity ticket booked
- Cruise – You earn 1 trip element per room per night
- Ground transportation – You earn 1 trip element per roundtrip ticket
- Package – You earn Trip Elements based on the rules for each travel type listed above
- Tier status is earned on a calendar year basis, from January 1 to December 31 and your qualification resets each year.
- Trip elements for a booking spanning two different years will be awarded in the respective years for room nights stayed.
- You earn trip elements for eligible bookings made with your One Key account, regardless of who completes the travel.
- OneKeyCash and trip elements cannot be transferred to another One Key account.
- Each part of the trip must cost at least $25 before taxes and fees to count as a trip element. If it costs less than $25, you can still earn OneKeyCash but not trip elements.
