Integrated Property Managers – About changes to listing ranking post-integration
Important: This article is for Integrated Property Managers (IPMs).
Integration does not affect listing position, but some issues linked to the integration process could affect your ranking metrics. See possible reasons for ranking changes post-integration below.
New listings were created
If new listings were created during integration, these listings won’t have any ranking metric history. While reviews can be transferred, ranking metrics cannot. Transferred reviews do not factor into the new listing’s ranking metrics.
Feed errors
Issues with your listing data feeding incorrectly from your Property Management Software to Vrbo may affect how and when your listing displays in the Vrbo search results.
- If a listing’s content is feeding incorrectly or is incomplete, your listing may not populate when specific filters are chosen (for example, amenities or bed/bath counts).
- If your calendar or rates are feeding incorrectly your listing may not be bookable.
Check your listing on the traveler-facing site to ensure it’s displayed correctly. If you encounter any integration errors, select Contact Us and report them to the Integration Support team.
Incorrect use of Property Management Software for cancellations
Canceling reservations incorrectly via your software could negatively impact your cancellation rate and affect your metrics. Contact your software provider to understand how to correctly cancel reservations within your software.
