Promotions are special deals that can help you attract more bookings. You can create, edit, pause/reactivate, or remove them at any time.

 

Create a promotion

  1. Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.
  2. If you manage multiple properties, go to the listing you want to update.
  3. In the menu, select Calendar.
  4. In Settings, go to the Pricing tab.
  5. Under Promotions, select Create your first promotion or See all promotions.
  6. Choose how you want to create your promotion:
    • To create one of the Recommended promotions, choose a promotion and select Create now. This action will immediately activate the promotion.
    • To create your own promotion:
      1. Select Create a promotion.
      2. Select the type of promotion.
      3. Enter the Discount (%) you’d like to offer (for example, 10% off).
      4. For early booking promotions, enter the Minimum days in advance.
      5. For last minute promotions, enter the Days before arrival.
      6. Optional: Select Advanced settings to set more requirements.
      7. Select Create promotion.
      8. Select Done.

 

Edit a promotion

  1. Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.
  2. If you manage multiple properties, go to the listing you want to update.
  3. In the menu, select Calendar.
  4. In Settings, go to the Pricing tab.
  5. Under Promotions, select See all promotions.
  6. Select an Active promotion.
  7. Select Edit.
  8. Make changes to the promotion details.
  9. Select Submit.

 

Pause a promotion 

Note: You can only pause and restart new listing promotions during the first 90 days after your listing goes live.

To temporarily stop a promotion:

  1. Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.
  2. If you manage multiple properties, go to the listing you want to update.
  3. In the menu, select Calendar.
  4. In Settings, go to the Pricing tab.
  5. Under Promotions, select See all promotions.
  6. Select an Active promotion.
  7. Select Pause.

 

Activate a paused promotion

To turn a promotion back on:

  1. Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.
  2. If you manage multiple properties, go to the listing you want to update.
  3. In the menu, select Calendar.
  4. In Settings, go to the Pricing tab.
  5. Under Promotions, select See all promotions.
  6. Select a Paused promotion.
  7. Select Activate.

 

Delete a promotion 

  1. Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.
  2. If you manage multiple properties, go to the listing you want to update.
  3. In the menu, select Calendar.
  4. In Settings, go to the Pricing tab.
  5. Under Promotions, select See all promotions.
  6. Select the promotion you want to remove.
  7. Select Delete, then Delete again to confirm.
