Sometimes, your guest may send inquiries about their booking regarding check in time, house rules, property details, or reservation changes. If you’re not receiving these emails, it could be because the emails are blocked, or they are being routed to your trash folder.

Blocked emails

You can avoid inquiry emails getting blocked by adding our email address (sender@messages.homeaway.com) to your contacts.

Emails routed to your trash folder

To check if emails are being route to your spam or trash folder:

  1. Log in to your email account
  2. Search your bulk, junk, or trash folder for emails from sender@messages.homeaway.com

If they appear in the search results, then you may need to adjust your email settings by creating a rule that routes emails from sender@messages.homeaway.com directly to your inbox. Refer to your email provider’s Help or Support area for instructions if you’re unsure how to do this.

Contact us

If you see any filters or routing settings that are sending inquiries into your trash, and you didn’t set them up, contact us and let us know. You may have a security breach on your email account.
