You may want to hide your listing if you plan to remove the property from the marketplace for an extended period or permanently. For example, you may have converted the property to a long‑term rental.

How it works

Hiding your listing makes it inactive and not visible to travelers. The listing will stay hidden until you manually reactivate it.

  • Listings are hidden across all Vrbo sites. You can't hide your listing on specific Vrbo sites only.
  • If you want to hide your listing and automatically reactivate on a specific date, pause your listing instead.

Important: If you’re a subscription customer, hiding a listing doesn't extend your subscription term. For more details, see About hidden listings.

Hide a listing

  1. Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard.
  2. If you manage multiple properties, select the listing.
  3. In the menu, select Property.
  4. Select Property details.
  5. In Listing status, select Hide.
  6. Select the reason for hiding the listing. Depending on your selection, you may need to provide additional details.
  7. Select Continue.

Manage your hidden listing

When your listing is hidden, it won’t appear to travelers until you manually reactivate it. If you don’t plan to make the listing visible again, you can archive it instead.
