As an Integrated Property Manager (IPM), you can use the Vrbo dashboard for a variety of reasons and features. IPMs are able to use the Vrbo dashboard to check invoices or pending transactions, read reviews, check listing status, and reply to inquiries and messages.

My Properties

All listings on the account will live on the My Properties page, sorted by ID/External ID, plan, and status. There is a filter tab that can narrow the search by two listing categories: status and plan.

Status:

  • Active: All of the active listings.
  • Incomplete: Listings that do not meet minimum required content.
  • Inactive: Listings that the Partner has hidden.
  • Restricted: Listings that Vrbo has suspended.
  • Pending Publication: Listings awaiting review by Vrbo.
  • Archived: Listings that the Partner has hidden from their list. These properties can only be seen when filtered.
Plan (not all plans available in all regions):
  • Pay-Per-Booking: All pay-per-booking listings.
  • Professional Plan (properties in EMEA, ANZ, and APAC): Pay per booking
  • Unassigned Listings: All listings that do not have a listing type selected.
  • Expired Subscriptions: All subscriptions which have expired.

Marketplace feed

This is the landing page of the host dashboard.

Inbox

Depending on your software’s messaging features, you are able to respond to guests directly from your software (also known as PMSC-property management software company). Not every PMSC has this capability. If the PMSC has New Messaging API, you are able to send messages directly to the guests from the software. If the PMSC does not have New Messaging API, but has the Inquiries Integration, you can see inquiries and booking requests but will need to send any responses from the Vrbo host dashboard inbox. Booking requests cannot be accepted on the host dashboard.

MarketMaker

MarketMaker can only be accessed through the dashboard. This tool gives information about supply and demand in their market.

Ranking metrics

Ranking metrics provide data and insights into a listing’s performance within the listing’s market including search impressions, Premier Host rankings, and Competitive Set. For more information, see Understanding ranking metrics

Premier Host

This section shows a scorecard where you are able to see the status assessment and if you qualify for Premier Host Status. The assessment will reset every 3-month period. It can be filtered by time range as well.

Edit property

While most listing information will feed over from the software, some accounts or individual listings may have a System of Record override in place that requires some listing content to be updated in their Vrbo account.

Property details

This is where you will find the listing status, listing plan, and Expedia link if qualified live on the Dashboard.

House rules

As an IPM, you are unable to use this section of the dashboard. Propertt managers are required to feed house rules from their software.

Reviews

Solicit reviews from past guests from the Reviews page. You can also respond to reviews.

Local Laws

The Local Laws tab is where required registration or STR numbers will be entered and updated. You can also modify your booking limits if applicable.

Partner Resources

Partner Resources can be accessed under the Help section or directly at https://host.expediagroup.com. This resource is available to owners and property managers and provides tips, resources, webinars, news, and blog posts to help you get the most out of your Vrbo listings.

Account Settings

You can update the following information via this page:
  • Account-level contact information
  • Login email address
  • Password
  • Security questions
  • Two-factor authentication phone numbers
  • Pay-Per-Booking (PPB) payment preferences including credit card billing information

Commission settings

The Commission settings page is where you will update the credit card on file for PPB commissions

System of Record

This section is used as a table of contents to determine what is set to feed from your software vs. configured in the Vrbo dashboard. There is an account-level tab and a listing-level tab.

Booking statements

This page allows you to view and download all of the past commission invoices.

Pending transactions

Pending transactions will show reservations that will appear on future booking statements if the booking is successfully completed. Any bookings canceled prior to reservation completion should disappear from this section.

Exceptions

As an IPM, you should never use the Vrbo dashboard for the following tasks, as they are managed within the integrated software:
  • Calendar
  • Reservations
  • Rates
  • Payments
  • Rental agreement
  • Cancellation policy
  • House Rules
