Set up all Cancellation Policies and House Rules within your property management software (PMS). This will then feed to Vrbo directly from your PMS.
 

Set up a cancellation Policy

In your PMS, select policies based on these listed Vrbo policies.

Some PMS allow custom cancellation policies as a feature. Contact your PMS provider Support to find out about custom cancellations and how to set them up.
 

Custom refunds

You can override your cancellation policy and refund a custom amount within your PMS/payment processor. The custom amount must be at least the amount due according to your cancellation policy.
 

House Rules

House rules allow you to display what is and isn’t allowed at your property to travelers before they book.

Standard House Rules include: 

  • Maximum overnight guests
  • Minimum age requirement of primary renter
  • Events allowed
  • Pets allowed
  • Children allowed
  • Smoking allowed

You may also include custom House Rules for each listing within your PMS.

Detailed policies and rules may also be added to the Rental Agreement. House rules supersede the rental agreement, so ensure that they align. 
 

House Rules violations

If a guest violates or says they can’t follow your House Rules and you want to cancel their reservation, cancel the reservation in your PMS and select Contact Us to request a cancellation waiver from IPM Support.
