General content guidelines

Your listing content must accurately portray your rental. It should also comply with our marketplace policies and Partner Provided Content Policy.

Listing editor specifications

Add the following into the description tab:

• Headline: Minimum of 20 characters, maximum of 40 characters 
• Description: Minimum of 400 characters, maximum of 10,000 characters 

Note for Integrated Property Managers (IPMs)

Update listing content in your Property Management System (PMS). All required content must be complete before a listing can go live, including the listing details, lodging configuration, rates, and availability. If the listing status is still ‘Incomplete’ after 48 hours of the listing’s export from your PMS to Vrbo, select Contact Us and notify Vrbo Integration Support.
