If your property is not appearing in search results, it may be due to errors in your listing. See below for reasons that your property might not appear.

Note:

  • You can’t change the position of your property on search results.
  • Vrbo doesn't control how properties are featured on third-party (external) websites.

Check your listing status

When you list a new property or push a listing live again after it was hidden or paused, it may take up to 24 hours for the property to appear in all applicable searches. If you recently changed your property status, it may take up to 24 hours for the change to be reflected.

To view your listing status:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. If you have more than one listing, select the one you want to view.
  3. Select Property.
  4. Select Property details.
  5. Go to the Listing status section where you'll be able to view the status of your listing.

Make sure your property location is correct

Ensure that your property map pin is placed on the exact location of your property on your dashboard. If the search is for a specific area such as a resort, the map pin must be correctly placed within the resort boundary for it to appear in search results.

Check your date range parameters

The date range you're using to search must meet the minimum stay requirement and any check-in day or booking window requirements you have set. Ensure that you’re searching for dates that have associated rates and availability, and are not blocked.

Check your property occupancy settings

Verify the maximum number of adults allowed to stay at your property, and whether there are any minimum requirements set for bedrooms/bathrooms.  

Searching for your property using the number of bathrooms as a parameter will not produce accurate search results if Toilet wasn’t selected as a filter in Bathroom type.

Understand your ranking metrics

Your ranking metrics help determine where your property will be in the search results. Viewing and understanding your ranking metrics can help you learn how to improve your listing.  

To access the ranking metrics page:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Select a listing if you have more than one property.
  3. Select Performance, followed by Ranking metrics.
